CLASSESArt - Students in K-5 receive instruction in the use of grade-level appropriate art media. Students also study the lives and works of four well-known artists each year. Students in Exploratory Art in Grades 6-8, use more advanced media and techniques.
Music/Drama - Students in Grades K-5 receive weekly instruction in music. Computer - Students in Grades K-8 receive instruction in the Computer Lab. Internet safety, keyboarding skills and practice with MS Office are key concepts covered. Spanish - Students in Grades K-8 receive instruction in Spanish language and culture. PE - Students in Grades K-8 participate in weekly Physical Education classes. Library - Students have access to the school's library during classes and recess. Exploratory Classes are rotating classes offered to Middle School students each quarter. A sampling are Yearbook, Multimedia Technology, Fine Arts, Study Skills, Drama, Spanish. |
CLUBSCheerleaders - Open to girls in grades 5-8. Represents our school at athletic events and competitions.
Choir - Beginning and Advanced Choir is open to students in Grades 4-8.
Student Council - Elected representatives who represent the student body by meeting to discuss and plan school-wide activities. Representatives are selected in Grades 3-8.
Safety Patrol - Students in Grade 5 are responsible for opening car doors in the morning and afternoon carpool. They also raise and lower the flags daily.
Quiz Bowl - Students in Grades 5-8 compete in the Diocesan Quiz Bowl.
Altar Servers - Students in Grades 6-8 serve at the weekly school Mass, and in weekend liturgies.
Beta Club - An academic/service club open to students in Grades 6-8. The Beta Club motto is "Lead by Serving Others".
Leader's Club - Open to students in Grade 7 who assist teachers during recess.
Youth Legislature - Program for students in Grade 8 who draft bills during the school year to prepare for a two-day mock legislative session that takes place at the Old State Capitol.
